Benefits of lavender
Herbal teas in general provide great benefits to our body. They are good for easing an upset stomach and helps normalize bowel movement and also good for headaches.
A cool lavender herbal tea can be used as a mouthwash due of its antiseptic quality. This leaves a desirable scent and it encourages confidence to oneself.
A warm lavender herbal tea can be used as an intervention for chest congestion in the form of warm compress just right above the affected area.
Inhalation of this herbal tea will also help cleanse the naso-pharyngeal tract as well as the respiratory tract in general.
The formula in making a lavender herbal tea is simple. You can just place two tablespoon of lavender’s dried flora in a liter of hot water.
Except for tea, lavender has shown great positive effects towards people in chronic stress. Its quality to relax is excellent for baths and is very good for a comforting feel. The use of lavender oil in baths will help in rejuvenating your tired body and altogether relaxing your mind making you ready for another day. Additionally, lavender is a good support to enforce sleep and rest in general.
To do this you may simply put 4 tablespoons of the dried flora in a muslin bag that is dipped plus Epsom salt. While running the bath water you may place this bag just underneath it. It is important to note that this may be used in a number of times so dry it after use. When the scent fades just discard it.
Lavender pillow is another product that is fused with the wonder of this natural agent. The fragrance of the lavender flora will encourage rest so sleeping is improved. The pillow is stuffed with a combination of different flora, foliage and herbs. Lavender is combined with rosemary, spearmint, thyme, marjoram and chamomile. This combination may be placed under your pillow.
